General Treatment Guidelines

The following treatment guidelines are provided in order to ensure that you, the patient, do your part to make your treatment a success. Homeopathy does not make excessive demands such as requiring a specialized diet or expensive supplement regimens. All that is required is to take the remedy precisely as instructed, and return for followup appointments regularly. In my clinical practice I am able to help most of my ‘good’ patients, whereas those that fail to follow the prescription and cancel appointments generally do not benefit.

Small deviations from the prescribed regimen do not affect the treatment progress, should cause no concern, and need not be reported to me. On the other hand, gross deviations—especially the taking of a remedy repeatedly that was only to be taken a limited number of times or stopping a remedy that was to be taken continually until further notice—can derail a treatment or even be harmful in extreme cases.

The success of homeopathic treatment depends as much on maintaining a precise dosage regimen over time as it does on correct selection of the remedy. It is therefore imperative for you to maintain regular communication with me over the long term, reporting to me whenever problems arise and in any case once every 2-3 weeks.
